Miyuna

Overview
In 2024, I started my own chocolate brand, Miyuna. Acting as the founder and CEO, I led operations, conducted market research, and curated seasonal recipes. In spring 2025, I represented Miyuna in Northeastern's WeLaunch Program, pitching Miyuna and winning a grant.
What I worked on
Led branding, overseeing the design of our mascot, Miyu (seen on left), building out packaging such as stickers, and building out the branding kit.
Ran core operations, handcrafting thousands of chocolates and running marketing efforts through free sampling.
Reflection
Growth comes from taking every opportunity
I never expected Miyuna to become a reality, but taking advantage of opportunities like WeLaunch gave me mentorship, taught me about the legal process, and pushed me to take on multiple hats. Now, I’m working through the legal process to officially establish Miyuna.
Your mentality can be your biggest barrier
Pitching Miyuna and presenting my product to different audiences brought a lot of imposter syndrome. I learned not to be afraid to take action and try something even when entering unknown territory.
